6 Line Dialogue Scenes
• Monday MAY 21st •
Improvisational Work
“It’s a great playground, you know, to try things out and to work on your skills. Because the mandate of improv is kind of the same as acting: It’s all about your scene partner, it’s all about being present and in the moment and exploring together as a team, a collaboration.”
~ Tatiana Maslany
For half the class you will work with 6-9 lines of generic dialogue,
3 for each person learned on the spot.
2 or 3 person scenes,
with circumstances changed up.
Then on to longer improvised scenes.

“I like to rehearse with the actors scenes that are not in the script
and will not be in the film because
what we’re really doing is trying to
establish their character,
and good acting to me is about reacting.”
~ Jim Jarmusch
