IMPROVISED SCENE WORK • JUNE 26TH • UP CLOSE & PERSONAL

Can you feel it in your bones when you are present? We will work scenes twice with the 2nd one being the close up. Get comfortable being still and let your eyes say it all. Camera never lies so we practice truth-telling.

As always we’ll end the workout with longer improvised scenes.

JUNE, the month to let go with free bodies and open imaginations. This month we focus on the what and how of story spilling out, characters, auditions, containment, subtext…

“Just don’t get ahead of yourself when you’re improvising. React to what you see, taste, hear, touch, and smell – not to the story in your head.”  ~ Michael Gellman
