MONDAY May 15th Emotions Come and Go •
We will work improvised scenes where you get engaged with your environment, objects, and others and practice uncorking and corking those pesky emotions.
Containment, what’s that?
Meryl Streep says, “My job is usually to express emotion as freely as possible.”
“Something happened to us a while ago – far less in England – it’s the idea that acting is feeling, which is so useless and leads us into a corner of unintelligible people muttering.” ~ Mike Nichols
I want in May 15th!WHY JOIN IN FOR IMPROVISATIONAL SCENE WORK?
To get more mad skilz.
Who doesn’t want to be more present to yourself, your environment and your scene partner.
(works well in life, too)
Casting directors want actors who are confident, can commit and execute strong choices and are not afraid to try new things.
Don’t let old habits keep you from moving forward.
You never know who’s going to be on the other end of that telephone call…

Working on a character? Bring s/he/they. We’re here for you.
Oh, and in this workshop you will be introduced (if you haven’t already) to a way of working that allows the emotions to flow freely…
