MONDAY May 29th • Write A Scene On Your Feet •
To begin you will choose unrelated, unplanned actions along with some basic character choices. You and your scene partner will then improvise a scene.
Hyper listening and seeing > reacting > relationship and story gets written on your feet.
Relationship and story get told. Repeat as necessary. Brave the unknown.
There’s no other you.
“If you play it safe every time, then you’re missing the best part of acting. You haven’t learned anything about your humanity.” ~ Brit Marling
I want in May 29th!WHY JOIN IN FOR IMPROVISATIONAL SCENE WORK?
Practice to get more mad skilz.
Who doesn’t want to be more present to yourself, your environment and your scene partner.
(works well in life, too)
Casting directors want actors who are confident, can commit and execute strong choices and are not afraid to try new things.
Don’t let old habits keep you from moving forward.
You never know who’s going to be on the other end of that telephone call…
